Healthy & Delicious Edamame Recipe

Ingredients:
3 tbs. Flax seeds, ground into powder (using blender or coffee grinder)
6 tsp. Water
10-oz. pkg. Edamame Beans
1 Carrot, grated fine or processed to fine pulp
2 cloves Garlic
1 tsp. Dried Onion
1/2 cup Parsley
1/2 tsp. Dried Mustard
1/2 tsp. Turmeric
1 tsp. Mexican Seasoning (Spice Hunter)
1/3 tsp. Deliciously Dill (Spice Hunter)
1 tsp. Real SaltTM
2 Sun-dried Tomatoes (packed in olive oil)

Grind flax seeds to powder and put in a bowl. Add the water and stir to mix well. Set aside to gel up.

Put carrot, garlic, dried onion, sun-dried tomatoes, flax mixture, and all spices into a food processor and process to desired consistency.

Then add the edamame beans and process until well mixed.

You can make them coarse and more chunky with the beans showing or smoother and more mixed if you like.

Also you can use more edamame beans if the mixture seems to be too moist. They should be able to form into a patty easily.

Then make into small patties and put into a dehydrator for 4-6 hours, or use a little grape seed oil and dip the patties in some sprouted wheat tortilla crumbs and fry on both sides.

Optional: You can use all sorts of different spices for these (e.g. Italian Pizza or Garlic Herb Bread seasonings by Spice Hunter). Also you could add some garbanzo or other beans of choice to stretch the recipe or add more bean flavors. Experiment! Enjoy!
