Kids Homemade Costumes

This section is dedicated to homemade costumes. So if you're thinking about making a costume for your child and need some ideas - this page will definitely help you. Simply scroll down the page and click on the icon of a costume you would like to view. (The costumes are arranged alphabetically.)

Each costume page contains a picture and how-to instructions for making the costume. The directions are step-by-step and easy to follow. They will help you design the costume you want for the party!

Wearing a costume for Halloween is part of the celebration. If you're going to a Halloween party, it's almost always a requirement. And dressing up for it is the key for having a great Halloween!

But not that many people think of a costume for a birthday party. Well, I'm here to tell you that having a costume for a birthday child is a great idea, especially if, first, the child is under the age of 13 and, second, he or she wants to have it!

I personally find that a costume adds to the party celebration, especially if the party has a theme. For example, having a Cat in the Hat costume for Dr. Seuss theme party is an awesome idea! And if the kid has two siblings - they can be Thing 1 and Thing 2.

Can't I just buy a costume at the party store!? Of corse you can! But making a costume for your child has a personal touch, that no store-bought costume could ever deliver. It's just special. Your baby thinks "wow, my mom and day made this just for me!" So that's why I recommend designing a homemade costume!

Here I put together costume are ideas that are simple and inexpensive to use. So you'll save time and money in costume design process. Just give these costume ideas a try!
