Invitations
Your Kim Possible birthday party invitations can look like "kimmunicators" (Kim's special phones). Simply cut the kimmunicator shapes out of turquoise cardstock. (Fold cardstock in half and draw (or trace) an image of kimmunicator near the fold - so the invitations can open and close.) Draw a screen, buttons, etc. on each kimmunicator phone.
Trace an image of Wade on the kimmunicator screen. The invitations can start with "What's the sitch, Wade?" Then describe your 'party mission' including date, time, address, etc.
As a variation, you can make your Kim Possible party invitations by downloading and printing images of Kim (and other characters) on the front of white invitation cards. Write "Confidential!" on the front and the rest of your party details on the inside. Then decorate the cards with theme stickers and stamps.
The wording of your Kim Possible birthday invitations can go as follows: "Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will be to train to be a crime fighter worthy of Kim Possible, while celebrating (your child's name) __th Birthday!" Then include the rest of the party information.
Alternatively, you can write your Kim Possible birthday party invitations using "numbered" code (for example, A=1, B=2, etc.) and get your guests to decode the message. (Make sure to include the decoding instructions with the invitations.)
Decorations
Choose purple, orange, black and green as colors for your Kim Possible party decorations. Develop as much theme atmosphere as you can, - using props, balloons, streamers, and other decorative items. Play Kim Possible theme music in the background.
Decorate your fence with blown-up images of various characters from the show: Kim, Ron Stoppable, Steve Barkin, Bonnie Rockwaller, and others. Create a balloon arch by tying colorful balloons to a kite string (about 12" apart). Then secure the string ends to the ground with dowels near the entrance to your driveway (so the Kim Possible birthday party guests have to go through the arch.)
Draw and cut out kimmunicator shapes out of construction paper, and hang them from the trees. Draw footprints on the driveway leading to your front door. Spread out several spy items (e.g., binoculars, magnifying glasses, notepads) on various fixtures outside. Put up a sign near the front door that says "Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to Kim Possible Birthday Party!"
Inside the house, hang Kim Possible posters on the walls and spread theme-related toys and memorabilia. Make a huge banner that says "Cheerleader Kim Possible Thinks Quarterback Brick Flagg is HOT!" Have some homemade villain signs scattered around the house as well.
Cover your Kim Possible birthday party table with a theme cloth. Place Kim Possible blowout for a centerpiece. Tie helium balloons to the backs of the chairs. Hang a personalized "Happy Birthday" banner near the table.
Guest Arrival and Introductory Activities
*Missing Gifts: You'll need a couple of "walkie talkie" radios for this activity. As the kids arrive, have the birthday child welcome them to the Kim Possible birthday party. Most of (if not all) of the guests will have gifts. Put them unopened in the "strategic spot" (table near the stairs or back door). Invite the kids to proceed to the next introductory activity, while one or two of your helpers "steal" the gifts. (Take a look at "Birthday Gift Hunt" game description below to get the "rest of the story.")
*Paint a T-Shirt: Provide a light-colored, plain T-shirt for each guest or ask kids to bring their own.
Before decorating, line the inside of each T-shirt with cardboard or waxed paper, so colors don't bleed through to the other side. Use sponges dipped in fabric paint or fabric pens to decorate the shirts. (Glitter glue is another way to add pizzazz.) When the children are done decorating, lay shirts in a safe place to dry.
*Kim Possible Coloring Pages: Here is a great Kim Possible party activity for the younger guests. Lay out a bunch of pages from theme coloring books around the area. Provide the children with crayons and markers, and get them to color those pages.
*Flip Flop Craft Activity: You can get a "flip flop craft kit" from a party store. Invite the girls in the group to decorate them with colorful paints, rhinestones, fabric flowers, etc. As far as the boys go, get them involved in another party craft, called "Pull Back Car" design, where they can get a chance to paint their own pull back cars. At the end of the Kim Possible birthday party both girls and boys can take their creations home as party mementoes.
Favors
For your Kim Possible party favors, have such items as compasses, nail polish, toy cell phones, removable tattoos, binoculars, Kim Possible sticker sheets, blowouts, etc.
Kim Possible Birthday Party Games
*Pin the Kimmunicator on Kim: For this classic Kim Possible birthday party game variation, you'll need a poster of Kim Possible (you can make or purchase one) and "kimmunicator" (radio device) shapes cut out from construction paper. Put guests' initials and a double-sided tape on radio-device shapes. Mount the poster on the wall.
At game time, blindfold the kids one by one, and get them to stick their kimmunicators on Kim where they belong (either her hand or her belt).
*Kim Who?: Before the party, write the names of Kim Possible show characters on strips of masking tape, so each child will have one. (For younger kids, use stickers or pictures instead.)
At game time, attach a character name on each guest's back without them seeing the name. Kids must try to guess which character is on their back by asking other children questions that can be answered "yes" or "no." (For example, "Am I a villain?", etc).
*Bucketball Relay: For this Kim Possible birthday party game, you'll need two small buckets (or containers with small mouths) and two small balls.
Divide the kids into two equal teams. Line up the teams on a starting line, and set each team's bucket about 10-12 yards away. Give a ball to the first person in each line.
When the game begins, the first player on each team walks to the bucket, keeping the ball between her knees. After dropping the ball in the bucket (without using hands), she's allowed to retrieve it with her hands and run back to the next person in line. The team to finish first, wins! (For greater difficulty, use a smaller ball and container.)
*Birthday Cheer: When Kim Possible isn't fighting villains, she can be found supporting her school as a cheerleader. Encourage your guests to create a cheer for the birthday child! To prepare, write down some cheers you know or print out a few simple cheers off the internet.
At game time, divide the group into teams and give them time to come up with a cheer to honor the birthday child. They can make up an original cheer or change the words of an existing one to fit occasion. When they're ready, let the teams perform their cheers for the entire group.
*Swamp Monster: Choose one player to be the Swamp Monster. Divide the remaining guests into two teams. Create a "swamp" using about 10x10 feet cleared space, where the monster "swims" (crawls) around. Line up teams on the opposite sides of the swamp.
The game begins when the monster points at player, and begins counting slowly to 10 out loud with eyes closed. The monster is allowed to crawl around and feel for players, but must not open its eyes.
Once the monster begins counting, the chosen player points to a player on the opposite team. Then, the two players must crawl across the swamp as quickly and quietly as possible without being discovered. When the monster's count reaches 10, it can open its eyes and crawl after the players crossing the swamp.
Once the player reaches the opposite site, that player is allowed to return safely to his or her team. A tagged player either remains trapped in the swamp, or becomes the new monster. If you choose to keep the same monster, then the last surviving team wins!
*Edible Jewelry: Your Kim Possible birthday party guests will enjoy snacking as they create sweet pieces of jewelry. Small candies, tiny cookies with holes in the center or pieces of cereal make fun, edible "beads."
For stringing material, yarn or twine is easy to tie. It's also fun to use thin licorice whips for completely edible necklaces and bracelets.
*Kim, Kim, Adrena: Adrena Lynn is a villain, who appeared in one of the Kim Possible episodes.
Change classic "Duck, Duck, Goose" game to this Kim Possible birthday party variation to fit your theme.
*Monkey Fist Obstacle Course: Set up an obstacle course in your back yard using such household objects as chairs, cardboard boxes, tables, tires, pillows, etc. Line the kids up and have each child go through an obstacle course running through, jumping over, and crawling under obstacles.
For added fun, include extra activities throughout the course. For example, somewhere during the course kids have to stop and shoot at empty plastic bottles using a squirt gun.
*Birthday Gift Hunt: (Continued from "Missing Gifts" game in Guest Arrival and Introductory Activities section.)
Make an announcement that it's time for presents, and as you approach the area where the presents were supposed to be - you don't find anything. Then your kimmunicator (walkie talkie) beeps, you can answer "What's the sitch, Wade?" The person on the other line can explain that a villain has enacted revenge by stealing all the gifts.
Then separate your Kim Possible birthday party group into teams or pairs, and give each team a set of clues to find the missing gifts. For example, first clue can be a picture of tree - the kids should look for a tree to find the next set of clues (pictures or description of locations), and so on. The final clue should have the picture or description of the location for the gifts. Make sure that you keep the gifts under the adult supervision at all times!
*Watch a Show: Invite the kids to unwind at the end of the party by watching one of the Kim Possible episodes. This also keeps them occupied while they are waiting for their rides to arrive.
Food and Drink Kim Possible Birthday Party Cake:
*Kim Possible Cake: Bake a rectangular cake. Print a picture of Kim Possible off the computer, and place it on the cake. Then carve around the paper to shape the cake. Finally, ice various portions (hair, facial features, etc.) of the cake with butter cream icing.
As a variation, you can use ideas from this Kim Possible cake page. Kim Possible Birthday Party Food Ideas:
*Crispy Chicken Quesadillas: For this Kim Possible party recipe, you'll need chicken breasts, a package of flour tortillas and shredded mozzarella cheese.

Fold tortillas, place them on a baking sheet, and lightly coat the top of each tortilla with butter. Bake at 350°F for 8-10 minutes. Cut quesadillas into pieces and serve with salsa or sour cream.
*Rufus' Layered Nacho Dip: In a deep dish, layer seasoned ground beef, refried beans, diced tomatoes or salsa, sour cream, olives, chopped green peppers, chives, and anything else you want. Top with grated cheddar cheese. Stick tortilla chips around the edge to decorate. Serve with a bowl of extra chips.

In a saucepan, melt margarine and mini marshmallows over medium heat. Stir constantly, so the mixture doesn't burn. When melted, slowly add crisped rice cereal, and stir until evenly coated.
Remove pan from heat and add miniature treats. Spoon mixture into small, waxed-lined paper cups and press lightly to fill. Insert a Popsicle stick into each cup and press again. Cool and refrigerate until serving time.
