Necklace Craft Project

Girls like making their own "jewelry." If you're throwing a party for younger ladies, have them design and decorate using the following necklace craft ideas.

Materials Needed:

  • White and yellow acrylic paint
  • Fine-tip markers (assorted colors)
  • Paintbrush
  • 6 white opaque heart pony beads
  • 5 wooden spools (3/4-inch diameter)
  • 1/8"-wide yellow satin ribbon

    Paint 2 spools with yellow and 3 spools with white paint. Using colored markers, decorate each spool with flowers and leaves as desired. Alternate beads and spools stringing them onto a ribbon. Adjust ribbon to desired length and tie ends together in a knot.
