My daughter's 3rd birthday party was the Veggie Tales. I prepared two cake mixes and made one 13"x9" cake and two round cakes. I then cut one round cake into half and put the parts at either end of the 13x9 cake to make Larry the Cucumber. I used a butter cream frosting and food coloring to match. My problem was I didn't have enough frosting the first time and needed to make a second batch and had a hard time matching the green. Then I did the same recipe for Bob the Tomato, except I used red food coloring. I decorated the face with a cake decorating kit and looked at a picture to try to copy their eyes and mouths.
