Invitations

Make your Webkinz party invitations stand out. Download and print Webkinz theme image off the internet. Glue it on the front of the invites. As a variation, you can use a company logo instead.

If you have a Webkinz toy, then take a photo of your child holding it. Print the picture on the front. Write "Come to My Webkinz Birthday Party!" below the picture. Then provide party details inside the cards.

Ask children to bring their stuffed animal toys to the party!

Decorations

Animal plush toys are the key ingredient of your Webkinz party decorations. Spread several of them around the party scene.

Enlarge Webkinz pet characters onto poster board, and tape it to the wall inside the house. You can also hang a theme poster on the fence at the front entrance.

Decorate the party area with balloons and streamers in soft colors. Create and hang a "Happy Birthday" banner. Play upbeat party music.

Cover the table with blue table cloth. Print images of Webkinz, laminate them, and place one at each setting for a placemat. Tie balloons to the backs of the chairs.

Guest Arrival and Introductory Activities

*Guess How Many: Place gumballs of various colors in a clear jar, counting as you put them in. When the guests arrive to the party, get them to guess how many are in the jar. The person, who guesses the closest to the actual amount, wins a jar full of gumballs.

*Design a Name Tag: Create name tags out of construction paper. Invite the kids to decorate their name tags with markers, crayons, stickers, and so on.

*Coloring Pages: Print some cool coloring pages off the internet. Spread them on the coffee table or on the floor right before the party. Get the kids to color them with crayons. This activity is especially fun for younger children.

Favors

Lil' Kinz make great Webkinz party favors. Other items may include Play Dough clay, crayons, stickers, removable tattoos, doggy ears, plastic toys, and figurines.

Webkinz Birthday Party Games

*Alyssa's Star Hunt: Create star shapes out of sturdy paper, or print stars on pieces of paper and laminate them.

Hide the "stars" all over the party area. At activity time, get the kids to find as many stars as they can.

*Balance Relay: Split the kids into 2 teams. Have a race, where competitors must run or walk briskly balancing a plush toy on a palm of their hand. If the toy falls down, the person holding it must start over.

*Frogs on Lily Pad: Cut a large lily pad out of green construction paper. Get some plastic frogs from a dollar store.

Position the "lily pad" on the floor, and invite the kids to throw the frogs from a distance in attempt to land them on the pad. Award points and/or prizes for successful attempts.

*Home-Before-Dark Obstacle Course: Set up an obstacle course in your backyard. Have chairs to walk around, balance beam to cross, hoops to jump through, etc. Get the kids to complete the course holding their pets in their arms.

For slightly older kids, you can have a race. Time each participant with a stopwatch to see who can go through the obstacles and safe home the fastest!

*Candy Balloon Pop: Blow up balloons placing candy in each one. (You should have roughly 2 to 3 balloons per each guest.)

Put on some party music and get the kids to stomp on the balloons revealing candy.

Caution: popped balloon pieces can be swallowed by younger kids, so supervise this activity very closely, if you have youngsters in attendance.

*Golden Retriever Says: Play a Webkinz theme version of Simon Says game.

*Quizzy's Corner: Print questions from Quizzy's Corner section on Webkinz website. (Pick age appropriate questions that kids will be able to answer.)

Have the kids sit in a circle. Quiz them to see who can come up with the most answers. Award prizes to all the participants.

*Birthday Pinata: Get a dog pinata, and organize a pinata-breaking activity.

Food and Drink

Webkinz Birthday Cake:

*Webkinz Cake: Bake a sheet cake. Frost it in white color. Create a Webkinz logo in the center of the cake, using logo picture as a guide. Then write the Happy Birthday message underneath the logo.
